Summary of essential job functions
Assist LTC Clinical Operations in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Long-Term Care.
Ensure the daily operations are in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
Assist the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.
Complete necessary audits and Infection Control program in the building.
Schedule daily rounds to observe clients and nursing staff, ensuring that quality care is provided to clients.
Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the DON as necessary/required, concerning nursing operations.
Participate in PLS surveys made by authorized government agencies.
Attend various committees of facility (i.e., Infectious Control, Policy Advisory, Pharmaceutical, Budget, Quality Assessment and Assurance, etc.) as required, and as appointed by the administrator.
Maintains master forms on computer for: Floor schedule, calendar attendance, trade slips, call-in slips, leave early slips, payroll deduction sheet, new schedule sheet, etc.
Assist with on-boarding and training of new hires.
Take and make phone calls after hours.
Work the floor when necessary; and every other weekend on call. Some holidays on call.
Reports to Director of Nursing.
Requirements
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Indiana.
Prior experience as a manager/supervisor or scheduling with skilled nursing/long-term care a plus.
Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
