Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical situations, ensuring their comfort and safety while delivering prompt and effective treatment. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Duties

Assess and triage patients presenting with various medical conditions in the emergency setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct physical examinations and document findings accurately in patient records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.

Qualifications

Education/Skills Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
Experience 1 year of RN Experience Required
Valid Registered RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
AHA BLS Certification – within two (2) weeks of employment
AHA ACLS Certification– within eight (8) weeks of employment
ENPC or PALS Certification – within twelve (12) months of employment
TNCC Course – within twelve (12) months of employment
Arrhythmia Recognition Course – within eight (8) weeks of employment
