*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical situations, ensuring their comfort and safety while delivering prompt and effective treatment. - Assess and triage patients presenting with various medical conditions in the emergency setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct physical examinations and document findings accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.
*Qualifications*
- Education/Skills Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience 1 year of RN Experience Required
- Valid Registered RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- AHA BLS Certification – within two (2) weeks of employment
- AHA ACLS Certification– within eight (8) weeks of employment
- ENPC or PALS Certification – within twelve (12) months of employment
- TNCC Course – within twelve (12) months of employment
- Arrhythmia Recognition Course – within eight (8) weeks of employment
