About this role
A healthcare facility in Montrose, Colorado is seeking Med-Surg Registered Nurses to join its inpatient nursing staff on the night shift.
The unit currently has six open positions, offering a stable team environment with a consistent need for experienced bedside nurses. Canadian and Mexican RNs are welcome to apply.
The Med-Surg RN manages a diverse patient population with a range of acute care needs within the medical-surgical unit. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population during the night shift
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor evolving patient conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans across a broad range of acute care diagnoses
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift
- Uphold patient safety standards and follow established medical-surgical nursing protocols
Qualifications
- Successful passage of the NCLEX required
- Canadian and Mexican RNs eligible to apply
- Minimum of one year of med-surg or comparable unit experience required
- Rural nursing experience preferred
Schedule
- Night shift
