About this role

A healthcare facility in Montrose, Colorado is seeking Med-Surg Registered Nurses to join its inpatient nursing staff on the night shift.

The unit currently has six open positions, offering a stable team environment with a consistent need for experienced bedside nurses. Canadian and Mexican RNs are welcome to apply.

The Med-Surg RN manages a diverse patient population with a range of acute care needs within the medical-surgical unit. This is a strong opportunity for nurses who thrive in a hands-on clinical setting and are looking for a supportive team with room to grow. Candidates with rural nursing backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population during the night shift
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor evolving patient conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans across a broad range of acute care diagnoses
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe and coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift
  • Uphold patient safety standards and follow established medical-surgical nursing protocols

Qualifications

  • Successful passage of the NCLEX required
  • Canadian and Mexican RNs eligible to apply
  • Minimum of one year of med-surg or comparable unit experience required
  • Rural nursing experience preferred

Schedule

  • Night shift
  • Six openings currently available

Benefits

  • Sign-on bonus up to $15,000
  • Relocation assistance evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Opportunity to earn an additional $5.00 per hour through participation in the Clinical Ladder program
