The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

Requirements

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from NLC
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire
Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations
SICU experience
Inpatient experience
1 year of experience
BSN preferred (non-BSN nurses with less than 1 year RN experience must enroll in BSN program within 15 months, complete within 5 years)
