Day to day: preparing patients for procedures and recovering patients when procedures are completed
Cross-training: trained to work in procedure rooms We utilize RNs in all of our locations and on occasion they will be trained to work in the procedure rooms as well.

The Endoscopy Center is an outpatient ambulatory surgery center which specializes in colon cancer screening as well as a number of other endoscopic procedures. Our registered nurses work in the preoperative and postoperative area and are responsible for preparing patients for procedures and recovering patients when their procedures are completed. We utilize RNs in all of our locations and on occasion they will be trained to work in the procedure rooms as well.

We are currently searching for full time (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm) registered nurses who can work cooperatively with team members and physicians while performing a variety of task. Preoperative and/or postoperative experience is not required but valued.

Key Responsibilities Include

Maintains current Tennessee Registered Nurse license

Provides care to patients preoperatively and postoperatively

Displays appropriate, professional, and cordial relationships with the physicians and other staff

Maintain current ACLS certification (obtains within 6 months of employment in The Endoscopy Center)
