This is not a traditional bedside nursing position.

Our RNs travel directly to patients throughout areas of the Salt Lake metro and provide physician-, NP-, or PA-directed treatments in the comfort and convenience of the patient's home or other approved setting.

The position is ideal for an RN who enjoys IV therapy and one-on-one patient care and wants flexible work outside the traditional hospital environment. Perfect for someone who wants to make extra income on the side or wants the flexibility of their own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to scheduled patient locations
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Initiate and discontinue peripheral IV access
  • Administer ordered IV hydration and nutrient therapies
  • Administer NAD+ infusions according to established protocols
  • Administer appropriately ordered IM or subcutaneous injections
  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
  • Prepare, verify, and administer medications according to provider orders and clinical protocols
  • Monitor patients during treatment
  • Recognize contraindications, adverse reactions, and changes in patient status
  • Communicate clinical concerns promptly to the treating NP, PA, or physician
  • Follow established emergency and escalation procedures
  • Provide patient education within the RN scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation
  • Maintain proper medication and supply handling, chain of custody, and inventory documentation
  • Follow infection-control and medication-safety standards
  • Help deliver a premium, professional patient experience in a nontraditional healthcare environment
