About this role
Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse or designee, performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient. Provides input to assist in planning and implementing patient care. Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures. Private duty services arranged for patients needing extended care, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock care, in home or facility settings across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.

Requirements
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass written Home Health Aide competency test with score of 90% or above
- Ability to pass HHA Skills Assessment Competency Evaluation
- CNA or Certification as Home Care Aide (HCA) preferred, or Completion of Nurse Assistant program, or currently enrolled in nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed, or foreign trained licensed RN without Michigan RN license, or Medical Assistant program
- BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation
- Current driver's license and satisfactory driving record
