Seasonal Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels (CSRH-NB) is a full-service, 94-private bed facility. The competent Nurse practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care with the ability to focus on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation. Responsibilities include providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation), addressing complex psychological/emotional/cultural/social needs of patients and families, administering medications and treatments per protocol, documenting patient history and care, and assessing learning needs to provide education to patients, family members and/or caregivers.
