The oncology nurse encompasses both direct and indirect aspects of nursing care including roles of direct caregiver, educator, clinical service coordinator, and research nurse. Maintains compliance of COLA, OSHA and CLIA to maintain laboratory status. Testing personnel are responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results.
