*what you’ll be doing *

  • Provide exceptional Primary Care to a panel of patients through a streamlined direct care process
  • Perform a variety of procedures in clinic including, I&Ds, suturing/removals, and skin biopsies as well as other primary care related procedures including men's and women's health visits.
  • Communicate with your patients by phone, text, and email
  • With a limited patient panel, feel empowered and have the autonomy to diagnose chronic disease while it is still reversible.
  • Take the time you need for patients. You decide what will lead to your patient's wholeness and health.
  • Coordinate tasks with your Medical Assistant to make sure patients receive timely attention.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to delegate tasks and have the freedom to focus on patient care.
  • This role requires the use of a personal cell phone to ensure 24/7/365 access for our members (Don’t worry, your number will not be shared, we use Twilio) for efficient communication and collaboration

  • Active and unencumbered Texas Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA), and Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) or Texas Licensure as an APRN-FNP, Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-grad experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively serve our Spanish-speaking patient population.
  • Experience conducting a variety of procedures including I&Ds, suturing, suture removal, skin biopsies, IVs, women’s health, and men’s health.
  • Family practice and/or primary care experience.
  • Experience managing care for all ages.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA or ability to obtain.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and customers.
