American Traveler is hiring an experienced Ortho RN with 2+ years of experience and an active OK or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work on a 30-bed Ortho/Spine unit with medical overflow
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM-7:15 PM)
- Patient ratios of 1:5-6
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope to like units
- Uses Epic for documentation
- Navy scrubs required
Requirements
- Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required

- Previous travel nursing experience required

Additional Information
- Care for orthopedic, spine, and medical overflow patients requiring skilled nursing interventions
- First-time travelers are accepted for this unit
- Local candidates are not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- Former staff must have been separated from permanent employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Brief onsite orientation provided prior to floating assignments
