The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans & provides professional nursing services in the Joint and Spine Unit at Holy Cross Health. Responsibilities include patient education for post-surgical Joint & Spine patients, collaborating with OT/PT/Case Management, effective communication with patients and healthcare team, and pain management. Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 12-hour day shift (7am-7pm) in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Requirements
- RN License
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. Competency in electronic patient management systems. At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting; rehab/surgical experience highly preferred.
