*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient facilities and Level I Trauma Centers. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring the well-being of patients through effective communication, clinical skills, and patient-centered care.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
  • Perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV placements.
  • Provide catheter care and manage patient hygiene needs.
  • Support discharge planning by educating patients and families on post-care instructions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Offer compassionate care to patients with dementia, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management.
  • Participate in suturing procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians when necessary.
  • Assist with ventilating patients as needed during emergencies or critical situations.

*Skills*

  • Proficient in venipuncture techniques and catheter care.
  • Strong understanding of discharge planning processes.
  • Experience in outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices to support patients effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Capability to perform under pressure in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
