Schedule

Weekday, One weekend day per month

• Hours: 8-
• 12 hour shift
• Setting: One-on-one care in the client’s home

Responsibilities

• Seizure monitoring and observation
• Medication administration
• Feeding assistance (per care plan)
• Documentation of care provided
• Communicate any changes in condition to the clinical team
• Provide *skilled nursing care* for a medically fragile infant in accordance with the plan of care.
• Monitor vital signs and assess for any changes in the child’s condition, intervening as necessary.
• Assist with daily activities, including repositioning, range of motion exercises, and developmental support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Educate and support family members on care techniques and emergency procedures.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Accurately monitor and track clients’ overall health and medical history during every visit
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Verify clients are taking the correct dosages of medications
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Remain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergencies
• Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed

Qualifications

*

• *Active nurse license* in Georgia
• *Pediatric experience preferred* *-* experience with *tube and suction care required*.
• Strong *clinical assessment and critical thinking skills*.
• CPR certification
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with the child’s healthcare team.

• mid-level to senior nurse preferred.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Current Nursing license in GA
• Current TB test
• Ability to work independently and with directions.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
