Overview

A leading NYC health system is seeking an experienced IVF Coordinator RN to join its fertility department in Manhattan. This role is ideal for a highly organized, patient-focused nurse with prior reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) experience. The IVF Coordinator RN will serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout their fertility journey, providing clinical guidance, education, and care coordination in a fast-paced, high-touch outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of IVF cycles, including scheduling, medication teaching, cycle monitoring, and follow-up care
  • Act as the main liaison between patients, physicians, embryology lab, and ancillary departments
  • Provide detailed patient education on treatment protocols, medications, and procedures
  • Review lab results, track cycle progress, and communicate updates to patients and providers
  • Administer medications and assist with procedures as needed (e.g., ultrasounds, egg retrieval prep, embryo transfer support)
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within Epic Systems
  • Triage patient calls, address clinical concerns, and provide compassionate, timely support
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in New York State
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in fertility, reproductive endocrinology, or women’s health required
  • Strong knowledge of IVF cycles, medications, and fertility treatments
  • Experience with Epic Systems or similar EMR platforms preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient education skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
