Summary

Provides professional nursing care in a critical care setting, assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, planning, evaluating, and documenting care. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates as part of a healthcare team to meet unit goals.

Responsibilities

Employ critical thinking, monitor patient progress, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience, Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's within 5 years if only an Associate Degree), current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS within six months of hire.
