About this role

The Connecticut Proton Therapy Center (CPTC) is excited to invite applications for the position of Registered Nurse (RN) at our state-of-the-art facility in Wallingford, CT. RNs working at CPTC provide specialized oncology nursing care to patients of all ages including pediatrics undergoing proton beam radiation treatment for cancer. The RN plays a critical role in patient assessment, education, symptom management, care coordination, and emotional support throughout the treatment process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in patient care as an RN
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Radiation Oncology/Proton Therapy preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Connecticut RN licensure required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is a plus
