About this role
Triage Nurse Ad
In clinic setting, provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. The Triage Nurse will be responsible for fielding incoming patient calls, answering questions regarding symptoms, medication refills, and delivering lab testing results. This role is all phone based answering incoming and making outgoing calls from and to patients.

What you will do
- Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow,, answering patient questions and coordination of patient care
- Works with procedural schedulers for obstetrics and gynecology referrals
- Applies nursing processes to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, appropriate plan of care for the patient.
- Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
- Employs current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality.
- Provides patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care.
- Prepares patients for procedures and educate on medications and plan of care
- May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed
What you bring
- Registered Nurse with a license in KS
- Minimum 6 months to one year of experience in a physician's clinic or hospital
- Ideally have family or specialty practice experience
Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. * Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor always.
- BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Experience with EMR systems.
- Former triage experience
This position is full time, 4 days a week.
All employment offers are conditional based upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
