Primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Assists the Director of Nursing Services in directing nursing activities, developing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, participating in quality assurance programs, managing personnel, and maintaining quality care in a long-term care facility.
