Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate CVOR cases; provide intraoperative cardiovascular nursing care
- Support patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
- Work in a hybrid cath lab environment with advanced cardiovascular technologies
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interventional teams; ensure patient safety and sterile technique
- Monitor hemodynamics, assist with instrumentation and equipment setup, and document procedures
- Maintain perioperative readiness, respond to intraoperative events, and uphold infection control standards
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or Compact to practice in Colorado
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR experience
- Ability to scrub and circulate CVOR cases in a hybrid cath lab setting
- Availability for 4x10-hour shifts with rotating weekends; on-call required
- Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the assignment location
