Responsibilities

  • Scrub and circulate CVOR cases; provide intraoperative cardiovascular nursing care
  • Support patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
  • Work in a hybrid cath lab environment with advanced cardiovascular technologies
  • Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interventional teams; ensure patient safety and sterile technique
  • Monitor hemodynamics, assist with instrumentation and equipment setup, and document procedures
  • Maintain perioperative readiness, respond to intraoperative events, and uphold infection control standards

Requirements

  • Current Colorado RN license or Compact to practice in Colorado
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR experience
  • Ability to scrub and circulate CVOR cases in a hybrid cath lab setting
  • Availability for 4x10-hour shifts with rotating weekends; on-call required
  • Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the assignment location
