We are looking for more than a technically skilled injector. The right provider understands that exceptional aesthetic medicine combines *clinical expertise, artistry, patient trust, hospitality, and ethical sales*.

This is a *full-service aesthetic provider position* with the opportunity to work across multiple treatment modalities and develop a loyal patient following within SkinFX.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Patient Care & Aesthetic Treatments*

  • Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and patient assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient anatomy, concerns, goals, medical history, and budget.
  • Perform aesthetic treatments within the provider's education, training, licensure, competency, and applicable scope of practice.
  • Provide injectable treatments, including neuromodulators and dermal fillers, when appropriately trained and credentialed.
  • Perform or participate in advanced aesthetic treatments, including laser, energy-based, regenerative, and skin-rejuvenation procedures, as permitted by scope of practice and SkinFX protocols.
  • Provide thorough pre-treatment and post-treatment education.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and conduct appropriate patient follow-up.
  • Recognize, appropriately manage, and escalate potential treatment complications.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, photography, consents, and treatment records.
  • Consistently follow clinical protocols, infection-control procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

*Consultation, Sales & Patient Experience*

  • Deliver a high-touch, luxury patient experience from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up.
  • Confidently educate patients on available treatment options without creating a high-pressure sales environment.
  • Convert consultations into appropriate treatment plans through education, trust, and clinical expertise.
  • Identify opportunities for complementary treatments, combination therapies, professional skincare, and long-term aesthetic planning.
  • Recommend services and products based on genuine patient needs and aesthetic goals.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of appropriate maintenance schedules and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Support membership enrollment, patient retention, rebooking, referrals, and practice-wide initiatives.
  • Develop strong, long-term patient relationships that encourage loyalty and continuity of care.
  • Maintain awareness of individual production, consultation conversion, rebooking, retention, and other applicable performance metrics.

*What We're Looking For*

*The ideal SkinFX provider is:*

  • Clinically knowledgeable with a strong commitment to patient safety.

  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and making appropriate service and skincare recommendations.
  • Sales-minded while maintaining a patient-first, ethical approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a refined aesthetic eye and appreciation for natural-looking results.
  • Professional in appearance, communication, and conduct.
  • Receptive to coaching, continuing education, and ongoing clinical development.
  • Motivated by measurable goals and performance expectations.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively alongside other providers, estheticians, patient care coordinators, and leadership.
  • Passionate about staying current with aesthetic techniques, technologies, products, and industry trends.

*Qualifications Required*

  • Active and unrestricted *California Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license*.
  • Minimum *2 years of hands-on professional medical aesthetics experience*.
  • Demonstrated experience performing aesthetic treatments in a medical aesthetics, cosmetic dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
  • Strong aesthetic consultation, treatment-planning, and patient-education skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability and willingness to practice within all applicable California scope-of-practice requirements and SkinFX clinical protocols.

*Highly Preferred*

  • Established experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
  • Experience with laser and energy-based aesthetic technologies.
  • Experience with regenerative aesthetic treatments.
  • Experience developing multimodality aesthetic treatment plans rather than providing isolated, single-service treatments.
  • Demonstrated success with consultation conversion, rebooking, and patient retention.
  • Existing patient following or established presence within the aesthetics community.
  • Experience working within a luxury medical spa, cosmetic dermatology, or plastic surgery environment.
  • Strong understanding of professional skincare and the ability to incorporate home-care recommendations into comprehensive treatment plans.

*Performance Expectations*

At SkinFX, our providers are expected to deliver both *exceptional clinical care and an exceptional patient experience*.

Success in this position will be evaluated through a combination of

*Why Join SkinFX?*

SkinFX Medical Spa offers an elevated environment for experienced aesthetic professionals who want to continue developing their clinical skills while building a successful and sustainable aesthetic practice.

Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available based on individual and practice performance.

*The Ideal SkinFX Provider*

A successful SkinFX provider does more than perform treatments.

You should be able to meet a patient, understand what they are trying to achieve, assess their individual needs, identify opportunities they may not have considered, and develop a thoughtful treatment strategy that may incorporate *injectables, laser and energy-based treatments, regenerative aesthetics, skin treatments, and professional skincare.*

You should be equally comfortable providing an exceptional treatment and conducting an effective consultation.

Most importantly, you should be able to build the level of trust that turns a first-time patient into a long-term SkinFX patient.

If you are an experienced aesthetic RN or NP who values *clinical excellence, natural-looking outcomes, exceptional service, continued professional growth, and building lasting patient relationships*, we would love to meet you.

*To apply, please submit your resume along with a brief introduction describing your medical aesthetics experience, the treatments you currently perform, and what you are looking for in your next aesthetic practice.*

Worth asking

The posting doesn’t answer these. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.

  • How does compensation work, including base pay and the productivity or RVU formula?
  • Are there differentials or other recurring incentives?
  • Does the employer cover malpractice and tail coverage, plus CME, licensing, and DEA support?
  • What should I expect for shifts, weekly hours, weekend, holiday, call, and rotation?
