Read the full posting

A Better Solution In Home Care is growing, and we're building our skilled nursing team. We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse who wants to make a real difference in clients' lives, one home visit at a time, with the backing of a supportive RN and a company investing seriously in clinical quality.

What You'll Do

  • Provide skilled nursing care to clients in their homes, following RN-developed care plans
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and complete other delegated clinical tasks within your scope
  • Document care clearly and communicate any changes in a client's condition to your supervising RN
  • Be part of building a new clinical program from the ground floor, with a caseload spanning short episodic visits and extended-hours, one-on-one care, including pediatric clients

What We're Looking For

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in North Carolina, in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of home health or home care nursing experience required
  • Pediatric nursing experience a plus, especially if you're interested in our growing caseload of children with intellectual/developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury
  • Reliable transportation and comfort with electronic documentation
  • A team player who's comfortable working under RN direction and communicates proactively

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on assignment type
  • Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between visits
  • Supplemental health insurance and retirement benefits for full-time team members
  • A supportive, RN-guided clinical structure, not a “figure it out alone” environment
  • The opportunity to grow with ABS as our skilled nursing caseload expands

If you're an LPN who wants meaningful, one-on-one client relationships and a company that invests in doing skilled nursing right, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.

Raleigh blends Southern charm with a thriving healthcare scene anchored by major research hospitals and the Research Triangle. Leafy neighborhoods like Five Points and proximity to NC State give the city a collegiate energy, while nearby greenway trails and a moderate climate make outdoor resets easy between shifts.
