Staff Development RN
We are currently accepting applications for a Staff Development RN within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Qualifications:
Current Alabama RN License
Experience in long-term care nursing
Staff Development is a plus, but training is available for RNs with long-term care experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Positive attitude toward the elderly
Essential Job Functions
To direct in-service educational programs and new hire orientation following current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be controlled by the Administrator.
Ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
Providing nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance
Planning and implementing orientation and mentoring programs for all nursing employees
Maintain the nurses' and CNA's schedules
Monday through Friday with rotating call and work one weekend monthly
