Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Nurse Manager (RN) of Emergency Services for a full-time, on-site leadership opportunity in Dallas, Texas. This position is responsible for the daily clinical and operational leadership of a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department, with a strong focus on patient care quality, staffing, budgeting, employee engagement, throughput, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
The Emergency Department includes 41 treatment rooms, 16 hallway treatment spaces, and approximately 35 FTEs. This role is well suited for an experienced emergency nursing leader who can balance clinical excellence, operational performance, staff development, and strong physician collaboration.
Position overview
The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting operational excellence throughout the Emergency Department. This leader will oversee nursing services, staffing and scheduling, productivity, quality improvement, patient flow, budgeting, regulatory readiness, and employee performance.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $106,000-$160,000
- $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
ROLE
- Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Emergency Department.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and employee performance.
- Develop collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and best practices.
- Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Monitor department metrics, patient satisfaction, and throughput.
- Assist with budget preparation and fiscal accountability.
- Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
