Travel RN - Operating Room

Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I trauma facility, requiring Epic experience and a MO or compact RN license. Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting with float ability required between OR suites Case mix includes ortho, neuro, neuro-spine, vascular, endovascular, ENT, radical neck, urology, trauma, transplant, general surgery, plastic surgery, Whipple, and other complex surgical procedures Shift is heavy on neuro and trauma cases Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM Weekend schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday No call required Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required BLS certification required ACLS, CCRN, PALS, TNCC, and CNOR certifications preferred Minimum 1 year of OR experience required Level I trauma experience required Epic charting experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers with relevant OR experience and Level I trauma capability are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
