We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our team at Hamilton Correctional Institution.
The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Associate's degree required
Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Examples: nights 5:30pm–6:00am three shifts/week rotating weekends; days Mon–Fri; PT Friday 1:30–10pm; RN supervisor mainly 8:00am–4:30pm with floor/admin mix. Travel RNs float across IN facilities.
