Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced *Registered Nurse (RN)* for a 13-week contract assignment in a *Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF)* in Gunnison, Colorado.
The RN will assist with and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the assigned shift, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and facility standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise nursing care for residents during the assigned shift.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day nursing activities.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
- Follow current federal, state, and local regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Monitor residents' conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, residents, and families.
- Supervise and support nursing staff as appropriate.
- Follow facility policies and procedures and directives from the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Active *Registered Nurse (RN) license* – must be currently active.
- Minimum *3 years of RN experience*.
- Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or similar experience preferred.
- Must meet all facility and state requirements.
- *Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.*
- Must be willing to provide *holiday coverage*.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: In person
