About this role
Registered Nurse (RN) - New Behavioral Health Hospital in Jacksonville, FL - Opening Summer 2026. Join the Launch of Acadia's Newest Flagship Facility in Florida. PRN: As needed, 12 hr shift (7:00 - 7:00). Standard Commitment: 36hrs per month (3x12hr shifts per month): $43/hr.
High Commitment: 72hrs per month (6x12hr shifts per month): $45/hr. Coastal Pines Behavioral Health will be a modern, purpose-built facility and a cornerstone of behavioral health care in Northeast Florida. The 144-bed behavioral health hospital, located in St. Johns, will offer a full continuum of services including inpatient psychiatric care, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
This position requires a Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements
- RN
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment
- One year of nursing experience
- Previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance use nursing experience (a plus)
- CPR certification required
- De-escalation and restraint certification required
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements
- Level 2 Background Screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
