Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) to oversee wound assessment, treatment, and prevention for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor acute and chronic wounds

Develop and manage individualized wound care plans

Perform wound treatments and track healing outcomes

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Educate staff on wound prevention and best practices

Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations

Maintain accurate documentation and assist with audits

Qualifications

Active New York State RN license required

Prior wound care experience preferred

Long-term care or hospital experience preferred

Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
