About this role
MES Solutions is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator. The role involves performing quality assurance review of peer review reports, ensuring clear evidence-based rationales, verifying client instructions and specifications are followed, ensuring clinical citations and references are current and from reputable sources, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory mandates (including ERISA), identifying report inconsistencies, assisting in resolution of customer complaints, and providing insight to management on consultant quality and compliance. The position is 100% remote with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 10:00am-6:30pm EST with rotating Fridays from 12:00pm-8:30pm EST.
Requirements
Active RN nursing license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or related medical experience; bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of two years clinical or related field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates and percentages
Qualified typist with minimum of 40 W.P.M
Ability to operate computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet
