LPN or Medical Assistant - 32 Hours Weekly - Family Practice

Building Location: Park Rapids Clinic Department: 3251800 FAMILY PRACTICE - PRK Job Description: Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse of Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our family practice at our Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. No holiday or on-call rotations are required, but two Saturday shifts will be required every six months. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts. Both: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
