Schedule
Full-Time Days (36 hours/week)
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Department: Medical Surgical Innovation Unit (Med/Surg II)
- Patient Ratio: Typically 5:1
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every third weekend rotation and holiday requirements
- Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center
Education
High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
Experience
One year of relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/

What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse for adult medical-surgical patients Assist with treatments, procedures, medication administration, and daily patient care activities Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team Accurately document patient care, treatments, and clinical observations Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide safe, coordinated care Support patient and family education to promote recovery and successful transitions home
