- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in their home settings, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

- Perform assessments of patient condition, recognizing signs of acute pain or distress, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage complex procedures including IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding, ventilator management, and ostomy care with aseptic technique.
- Provide education to families on medication administration, safety protocols, developmental milestones, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and utilizing proper safety protocols during all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice with current CPR/BLS certification.
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as pediatrics, neonatal intensive care (NICU), PICU, or home health preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medication administration, and medical terminology relevant to neonatal and pediatric care.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and ventilator management.
- Critical care experience or background in emergency medicine or trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective triage, family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
