Join our dynamic pediatric home health care team as a Registered Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing compassionate, expert nursing care to children with diverse medical needs in their home environment. This part-time position offers weekend night shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, perfect for motivated nurses seeking a rewarding role that makes a real difference. You will deliver specialized pediatric nursing services, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes for your young patients. Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in their home settings, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

Collaborate closely with families and caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

Perform assessments of patient condition, recognizing signs of acute pain or distress, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.

Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Manage complex procedures including IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding, ventilator management, and ostomy care with aseptic technique.

Provide education to families on medication administration, safety protocols, developmental milestones, and emergency response procedures.

Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and utilizing proper safety protocols during all patient interactions.

Requirements

Housing is not cheap: listings near $425,000, in-town condos from the $400,000s, Ellenwood and South Fulton the first-buyer math, rents around $1,540. You will likely own a car.
