Registered Nurse - Surgical Rehabilitation

The role involves providing direct nursing care in an orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical unit, ensuring patient needs are met through implementing and monitoring care plans, communicating patient conditions, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts.

Responsibilities include serving as a primary coordinator for patient care, following physician and nursing orders, and assisting with discharge planning.

Qualifications include current licensure or eligibility as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing, and BLS certification within one month of hire, with certifications accepted from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at the time of hire.
