- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication reminders following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Support clients with mobility.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards and assist in updating care plans regularly
*Qualifications*
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), and working with individuals with physical disabilities.
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is required
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support older adults or individuals with disabilities in their daily lives
