Overview

**

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a PACU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the recovery of patients post-surgery. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on patient care and recovery.

Duties

**

  • Monitor patients post-surgery to ensure safe recovery and assess their condition
  • Administer medications and manage pain relief as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, ventilating, and monitoring vital signs

Qualifications

**

  • Valid RN license and ACLS certification
  • Previous experience in PACU or critical care setting preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems
  • Knowledge of outpatient procedures and post-operative care
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and wound care management
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including GI, Spine,Pain Management and ENT
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment
