Duke Health Integrated Practice comprises more than 110 primary and specialty outpatient clinics, extending the reach of the Duke Health mission across the state of North Carolina. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse in our Women's Health clinic located in Raleigh, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.
Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers. Assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care and act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unit as assigned.
Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment of care including equipment and material resources. Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings. Act as preceptor and support the development of other staff and formal learners.
Participate in the identification of clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities. Float in clinic to cover patient and provider needs as delegated by nurse manager, health center administrator, charge nurse, or nurse team lead.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
- Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience (6 months may be eligible at discretion of clinical lead or HCA if exceptional performers)
- Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- BLS certification
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull 30 lbs
- Must be able to carry 30 lbs
- All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years and must complete within seven years of start date
