Full-time RN Nurse Educator position for an Adult LPN Program at a BOCES district in Herkimer County, NY. 10-month academic calendar. Under the supervision of the Nursing Coordinator, the educator leads instruction utilizing an approved curriculum, splitting time between classroom facilities, on-site simulation labs, and local healthcare clinics. Key duties include interactive instruction across nursing subjects, clinical supervision of student nurses during practical rotations, student mentorship, and curriculum design collaboration.

Requirements

Currently licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required
Master's Degree in a related field required (or in progress)
Must possess or be willing to obtain NYS Certification as an Adult Education Teacher
Must clear NYS fingerprinting and education background check
Valid driver's license and independent transportation required for local clinical site travel
Prior experience teaching or instructing within a nursing program is a major plus
