Part-Time Registered Nurse
Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058 Hourly Pay Rate: $40 to $44, depending on experience
Schedule
Two rotating weekday shifts 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM One weekend per month Saturday to Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Embark Behavioral Health in Independence, MO is seeking Registered Nurses to support adolescents (ages 12–17) in our short‑term residential program. In this role, you’ll assess student needs, administer medications, respond to illness or injury, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team. You’ll also communicate with families, coordinate care, and advocate for students throughout their healing journey. Responsibilities
Be a trusted caregiver by assessing and responding when a student isn’t feeling well. Support student well-being by monitoring vitals, administering medications, and tracking health progress. Collaborate with families and the care team by sharing important medical updates and advocating for student needs. Ensure safety and accuracy by tracking and documenting medications, including narcotics, every shift. Receive training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to support upset teens as they arise. Play a key role in the healing journey by observing and documenting mood, behavior, and overall health.
