- Monitor patients in holding area after procedures until stabilized.
- Perform interpretations of patient clinical information and record physiological data.
- Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures to be done.
- Instruct patients, families and employees about laboratory procedures.
- Maintain and updates patient records regularly.
- Supervise departmental work related to patient care.
- Participate in community outreach events sponsored by AGMC/HVC.
- Support and participate in community wellness programs.
- Serve as preceptor for university students in nursing and/or other health sciences.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications through the American Heart Association
- Three years of experience in Critical Care/Cardiology
- Demonstrated expertise in arrhythmia interpretation
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include
- Bachelor's Degree
- Critical Care experience

- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
- Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
