**Position

Overview

** Provides professional nursing care for infants in the nursery and for mothers in the post partum unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines; maintains standards of professional practice.

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required
  • BSN Preferred

Department specific experience

  • 2 years previous clinical experience in neonatal ICU and obstetrical nursing.

Licensures and certifications

  • Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure - RN Required
  • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - NRP Required

Skills and knowledge

  • Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
  • Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances
  • Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations
  • Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
  • OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)
  • Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds.

Pay Range is $81.26 to $109.95 / hour

Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
