About this role

School Nurse - RCM Health Care Services. A School Nurse plays a vital role in promoting and protecting the health, safety, and well-being of students within the school community. This position involves providing direct healthcare services, managing chronic conditions, administering first aid, and responding to medical emergencies.

The school nurse also conducts health screenings, maintains accurate medical records, and ensures compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include conducting student hearing and vision screenings, educating students on hygiene and safety practices, dispensing prescription medications, verifying vaccination records, taking students' temperatures, administering first aid and CPR, treating minor injuries, and contacting parents when students are ill or injured. Monday thru Friday, daytime hours.

Located in Long Island, New York (Nassau and Suffolk).
