About this role
The Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (QA RN) is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of patient care services provided by the home health agency. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards, including Medicare Conditions of Participation, while supporting clinical excellence, accurate documentation, and regulatory readiness. Essential duties include conducting comprehensive audits of patient clinical records, reviewing OASIS assessments, monitoring adherence to Medicare and state regulations, identifying documentation deficiencies, collaborating with clinical managers and field staff to improve patient outcomes, tracking and analyzing quality indicators, and assisting in the preparation for state surveys and accreditation.
