Registered Nurse RN Preceptor Home Health

The RN Preceptor is responsible for activities related to orientation, onboarding, and education of new RN partners at PruittHealth @ Home. The RN Preceptor provides support and guidance to integrate new RN partners and ensure they become independent and clinically competent. When not precepting, the RN will spend 100% of their time taking on full patient load. Key responsibilities include serving as primary educator for new RN partners, teaching and supervising clinical activities, providing advanced nursing care to home health patients, and completing documentation timely and accurately. Minimum education: Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an accredited/approved RN program. Minimum experience: 3 years of nursing experience required; previous home health experience preferred. Minimum licensure: Current, active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice and Current CPR certification. Preferred: 6 months experience in nursing education/training/precepting, experience working with elders.
