At Community Health System, you'll be part of a dedicated nursing team committed to delivering safe, skilled and compassionate care across our hospitals. As a Registered Nurse, you'll support a diverse patient population and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in an environment built on teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement. In this role, you provide direct patient care using evidence-based practices, complete thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans to support optimal recovery. You coordinate and communicate with physicians, ancillary staff and families to ensure continuity and clarity throughout each patient's stay. You maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold all safety and regulatory standards while actively contributing to a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and accountability.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Consistent demonstration of Novice/Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency (required)
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California (required)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
  • Experience working with neonates
  • Critical & intensive care
  • Evidence-based practice
