Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Full-Time Office Nurse (RN or LVN) to join our clinical team. The Office Nurse will work closely with our physicians and staff to provide safe, efficient, and family-centered care to pediatric patients. New graduates are welcome to apply
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys the variety of an outpatient pediatric setting and takes pride in providing excellent patient care and service.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and clinical support to pediatric patients in accordance with established office policies and provider direction.
- Obtain and accurately document patient histories, vital signs, medication information, and other relevant clinical information.
- Answer and triage clinical telephone calls and messages, communicate provider recommendations, and assist with appropriate follow-up and care coordination.
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for visits and assist providers with examinations and office procedures.
- Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments within the nurse’s scope of practice.
- Perform and assist with point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and other routine clinical procedures
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies, medications, and organized patient-care areas.
