Office Nurse - Pediatrics

• Provide nursing care and clinical support to pediatric patients in accordance with established office policies and provider direction.

• Obtain and accurately document patient histories, vital signs, medication information, and other relevant clinical information.

• Answer and triage clinical telephone calls and messages, communicate provider recommendations, and assist with appropriate follow-up and care coordination.

• Prepare patients and examination rooms for visits and assist providers with examinations and office procedures.

• Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments within the nurse’s scope of practice.

• Perform and assist with point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and other routine clinical procedures

• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies, medications, and organized patient-care areas.
