*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:*

*Patient Care*

  • Accompanies surgeon in cosmetic consultations as needed
  • Assists surgeon in preparing for examinations and minor procedures
  • Reviews pre-operative instructions and explains the surgical process to patients
  • Triages postoperative patient phone calls; answers questions and determines if patients need to be seen
  • Sees post-operative patients and answers questions
  • Obtains needed equipment and supplies for exam room procedures such as sclerotherapy, chemical peels, Juvederm, Dysport, Botox, Sculptra, lesion removal. Mixes and draws up using industry standards for dilution.
  • Performs patient education duties; shows surgical videos, hands out brochures, and directs patients to specific Internet sites for more information

*In-Office Operating Suite and Hospital*

  • Assists surgeon in the operating room
  • Adheres to chart documentation requirements as outlined by hospital or practice guidelines
  • Correctly Preps patients for surgery and then recovers patients in the PACU and discharges them according to discharge protocol.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
