Patient Care
Accompanies surgeon in cosmetic consultations as needed
Assists surgeon in preparing for examinations and minor procedures
Reviews pre-operative instructions and explains the surgical process to patients
Triages postoperative patient phone calls; answers questions and determines if patients need to be seen
Sees post-operative patients and answers questions
Obtains needed equipment and supplies for exam room procedures such as sclerotherapy, chemical peels, Juvederm, Dysport, Botox, Sculptra, lesion removal. Mixes and draws up using industry standards for dilution.
Performs patient education duties; shows surgical videos, hands out brochures, and directs patients to specific Internet sites for more information
