Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Position Overview

An Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs throughout hospitalization. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering treatments and medications, and evaluating patient responses. The role involves collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and promote safety and quality improvement initiatives.

The RN ensures a compassionate, patient-centered experience, coordinates care activities, and maintains compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

Requires graduation from a specialty nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong assessment, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and participate in patient safety and quality programs is essential.
