About this role
As a PRN Registered Nurse - Recovery (PACU) at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The RN in Pre-Op/PACU provides expert professional nursing care during the pre- and post-operative course. The RN assesses, implements and evaluates the care of the patient. The nurse will assure that the patient is prepared for discharge to a home environment by providing the necessary education to the patient and their responsible caregiver.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current Colorado RN state license
BLS, ACLS and PALS (complete within 3 months of employment)
Two years of pre-operative, recovery room, intensive care or emergency room experience is desired
Previous experience in EMR preferred
Preferred accomplishments include experience in Ophthalmology Surgery
Demonstrates Age Specific competencies for Adult and Pediatric patients
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (up to 12 hours per day)
