About this role

As a PRN Registered Nurse - Recovery (PACU) at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The RN in Pre-Op/PACU provides expert professional nursing care during the pre- and post-operative course. The RN assesses, implements and evaluates the care of the patient. The nurse will assure that the patient is prepared for discharge to a home environment by providing the necessary education to the patient and their responsible caregiver.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Colorado RN state license
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS (complete within 3 months of employment)
  • Two years of pre-operative, recovery room, intensive care or emergency room experience is desired
  • Previous experience in EMR preferred
  • Preferred accomplishments include experience in Ophthalmology Surgery
  • Demonstrates Age Specific competencies for Adult and Pediatric patients
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (up to 12 hours per day)
