Community Behavioral Nursing Services is a family-owned and operated, accredited home health agency dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live with dignity and respect. Unlike traditional home care roles, our nurses typically travel no more than fifteen miles between patient locations, allowing for a better work-life balance, and less time on the road. CBNS proudly serves the Stark, Medina, Cuyahoga, and Lorain Counties- and we are continuing to grow!
We are currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Amherst, Ohio! The LPN/RN provides skilled nursing services to patients in accordance with the current nursing plan of care within their scope of practice. Employees are also responsible for the completion and documentation of vital signs and observations, coordination of care activities, and delivering nursing services for each assigned patient.
The LPN/RN also promotes safety and education, working in a professional and organized manner.

- Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio
- Minimum of one year's experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), preferably in a clinical home care setting
- CPR Certification
- BLS Certification
